About the Role

Logan View Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Music Teacher to join our learning community. The successful candidate will inspire students in grades through engaging, inclusive, and high-quality music instruction that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong appreciation of music.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with curriculum standards

• Teach courses such as instrumental music, vocal music, general music, music theory, or ensembles (based on school needs)

• Lead rehearsals, performances, concerts, and school music events

• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and the school community

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field 

• Valid teaching certification/licensure in Music (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience teaching secondary-level students preferred

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Ability to motivate and connect with diverse learners

• Experience with ensembles, performance programs, or extracurricular music activities is an asset
